Specializing in cricket, we gained attention domestically and internationally, expanding into diverse sports. Relocating to a spacious premise, now the largest in Chennai, our store serves enthusiasts and elite athletes with a comprehensive range of sporting goods, attire, and trophies. Genesis of Sportus

Commencing with brothers G. Balasubramanian & G. Ramesh, Olympia Sports flourished from modest beginnings, driven by hard work, passion, learning and customer loyalty, expanding significantly over time.

1997

Sportus Evolution

Realizing the need for more space and better product display, we shifted, rebranding as SPORTUS. Quality products drew corporates, schools and sports clubs, with cricket becoming our core focus due to our background.

2004

Sporting Equipment Expansion

Utilizing India's cricket equipment manufacturing expertise, we expanded into foreign markets, offering competitively priced products. Supported by leading Indian and international cricket brands, our market share grew steadily both domestically and abroad.

2010

Business Boom Era

Between 2010 and 2015, our business flourished, leading us to acquire our own spacious premises catering to a wide array of indoor and outdoor sports goods. Our passion for sporting equipment extended to various other games.

2015

Hyper Reach

We moved to our expansive 4500 sq.ft. premises at Adyar, Chennai. Serving all sporting needs, we've cultivated strong ties with clients, including celebrities and players, fostering a vibrant sporting community.
